Overview
Tarangire & Ngorongoro Safari
Enjoy a 4-day luxury safari and discover some of the best wildlife and scenery in Tanzania. You will see animals in different habitats, including monkeys in forests, lions in trees, elephants among acacia trees, and many other animals inside the famous Ngorongoro Crater. This safari includes visits to Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara National Park.
Itinerary
Day by day
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
When you arrive at the airport, our representative will meet you and take you to your hotel in Arusha, Gran Meliá Arusha. Relax and enjoy your stay while preparing for the exciting safari ahead. The hotel offers beautiful views of Mount Meru and provides a comfortable start to your adventure.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, your private safari guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha. You will drive to Tarangire National Park through the Maasai plains, where you may see Maasai people in traditional clothing, herding cattle, riding bicycles, or using donkey carts.
Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds. During your game drive, you will explore the park’s savannah, seasonal swamps, and the Tarangire River. You may see elephants, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, giraffes, and many other animals. With some luck, you may also spot lions or leopards.
After the game drive, you will travel to a nearby luxury lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater
After an early breakfast, you will travel through the Great Rift Valley to the Ngorongoro Highlands. The Ngorongoro Crater is the world's largest intact volcanic caldera. It is about 20 km wide and 610 metres deep.
The crater is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including the Big Five: lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard. It is one of the most amazing natural wonders in the world.
You will also see other animals such as wildebeests, gazelles, and reedbucks, as well as more than 500 bird species. After enjoying a picnic lunch inside the crater, you will continue your game drive before returning to your lodge in the afternoon.

Day 4: Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park, located about 120 km from Arusha. This beautiful park is known for its shallow salt lake, which changes in size with the seasons.
The lake attracts thousands of flamingos and more than 500 species of birds. During your game drive, you may see monkeys, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, and elephants. If you are lucky, you may also spot the park’s famous tree-climbing lions.
In the evening, you will return to Arusha, bringing your safari adventure to an end.
