After breakfast, your safari guide will pick you up from your accommodation. You will drive for about 2.5 hours to Tarangire National Park.

The park is named after the Tarangire River, the main water source for wildlife during the dry season. Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds. You may also see giraffes, bushbuck, hartebeest, lions, and leopards. The park is home to an incredible variety of birdlife, making it a paradise for bird lovers.

You will also see the park’s famous baobab trees, some of which are believed to be over 1,000 years old.

Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing your game drive. In the afternoon, you will travel to Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater

The Ngorongoro Crater was formed when a huge volcano collapsed millions of years ago. Today, it is one of Africa’s most famous wildlife destinations. The crater covers about 260 square kilometers and is home to a large number of animals.

After descending into the crater, you may see wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, buffaloes, elephants, and many bird species. The crater is also one of the best places in Tanzania to spot the endangered black rhino.

Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor while surrounded by stunning scenery and wildlife.

After your game drive, you will return to your accommodation in Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Accommodations:

  • Ngorongoro Coffee Lodge
  • Ngorongoro Marera Mountain Lodge
  • Ngorongoro Farm House

Day 4: Lake Manyara National Park – Arusha

After breakfast, you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park, located about 120 km from Arusha.

Although it is one of Tanzania’s smaller parks, it offers a wide variety of landscapes and wildlife. The park is famous for its shallow soda lake, which attracts thousands of birds, including flamingos. More than 500 bird species have been recorded here.

You may also see baboons, elephants, hippos, and the famous tree-climbing lions. The park’s evergreen forest and the dramatic Great Rift Valley Escarpment create beautiful scenery.

Enjoy a picnic lunch before your final game drive.

After the safari, your guide will transfer you to your preferred drop-off point in Arusha, Kilimanjaro International Airport, or Arusha Airport.
