Day by day
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Welcome to Tanzania!
When you arrive at the airport, our representative will meet you and take you to your accommodation in Arusha.
Depending on your arrival time, you can relax and prepare for your safari adventure. Arusha is the main starting point for safaris in northern Tanzania and a lively city with a welcoming atmosphere.
Overnight: Arusha
Day 2: Arusha to Ngorongoro Crater
After an early breakfast, your private safari guide will drive you to the famous Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s best wildlife destinations.
As you descend into the crater, you will see beautiful landscapes including grasslands, forests, and wetlands. Wildlife commonly seen here includes:
- Elephants
- Lions
- Zebras
- Wildebeests
- Buffaloes
- Black rhinos
The crater is also home to more than 500 bird species, including flamingos around the lakes.
After your game drive, continue to Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.
Overnight: Karatu
Day 3: Karatu to Tarangire National Park (Night Game Drive)
After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park.
Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds and giant baobab trees. During your daytime game drive, you may see:
- Elephants
- Lions
- Giraffes
- Zebras
- Wildebeests
- Impalas
- Gazelles
The park is also a paradise for bird lovers, with over 500 bird species.
In the evening, enjoy an exciting night game drive. This gives you a chance to see animals that are active after dark, such as:
- Hyenas
- Leopards
- Aardvarks
- Owls
This is a unique safari experience that allows you to discover a different side of the African wilderness.
Overnight: Tarangire area
Day 4: Tarangire National Park to Arusha
After breakfast, enjoy another game drive in Tarangire National Park.
Look out for:
- Large elephant herds
- Buffaloes
- Giraffes
- Zebras
- Impalas
- Lions
The park’s beautiful landscapes and rich wildlife provide excellent opportunities for photography and wildlife viewing.
After the game drive, your guide will transfer you to Arusha or to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight.
Your unforgettable safari adventure comes to an end.
