The building is almost entirely made of wood and glass around a natural \u201ckopjes\u201d or rocky outcrop.The spacious bar and restaurant have views over the plains and there is an open terrace outside from which to view the sunset. It is ideally located for observing the migration of wildebeest. At the edge of the Seronera River, this is the ideal starting location for safaris to discover and explore the wildlife of Africa: lions, cheetahs and elephants. Seronera Wildlife Lodge was one of the two original accommodations, hand picked and specifically built around the heart of Serengeti plains. This was done due to the abundance of resident and migratory wildlife that would often traverse the area at various times of the year.
