This 2-day tour can easily be combined with a visit to Lake Eyasi, home of the traditional Hadzabe Bushmen.

Important Note:
This package is quoted for a 7-day Kilimanjaro trek via the Machame Route, including one extra day for acclimatization. We can also customize the trek with other routes or adjust the duration (shorter or longer) to best suit your preferences and fitness level.

2 Days /1 Night

Day 1: Leave Arusha at 09.30 am, drive for about 2 hours to Lake Manyara National Park

Famous for its green scenery, varied bird life, tree-climbing lions, hippos and baboons. Dinner and overnight will take place on top of the Great Rift Valley, overlooking Lake Manyara. Overnight options: Lake Manyara Tree Lodge, Lake Manyara Serena, E Unoto Retreat,
Kirurumu Tented Camp, Lake Manyara Hotel, Panorama Camp

Day 2 : 6 hours in the Ngorongoro Crater.

There is a very high possibility of spotting the big 5 in one day: lion, rhino, elephant, buffalo and leopard. Lunch will take place at the picnic site at the crater floor. In the afternoon, drive back to Arusha.

Day 1: Leave Arusha at 09.30 am, drive for about 1 hour to Tarangire National Park.

This park is often referred to as the “home of elephants”, you have a great chance to spot elephants in large groups gathering around the Tarangire River. Other animals to be spotted include leopards, lions, giraffes and even tree-climbing pythons! Game drive until late afternoon, then a 90 minutes transfer to Arusha National Park for dinner and overnight. Overnight options: Ngurdoto Mountain Lodge, Serena Mountain Village, Kigongoni Lodge, Momella Wildlife Lodge, Colobus Camp

Day 2 : A full day in Arusha National Park.

Here you will participate in a half day walking safari and a half day game drive. You will be accompanied by an armed ranger for the walk, who will guide you through the forest up to the waterfall and the point for viewing the black and white colobus monkeys. During the game drive you will see the 7 Lakes of Momella and the Ngurduto Crater. At sunset, you will return to Arusha.

End of tour !

Transfer from Kilimanjaro / Arusha / Nairobi Airport and return. Note that for transfer from Nairobi Airport we use Impala Shuttle Service with departures daily at 0800 and 1400.
